Hydra

Hydra is a range of space defining freestanding planters designed to work both independent of and fixed into Obeya. Crafted with integration in mind, Hydra marries biophilia and space delineation where it is needed most. Nature has the ability to soothe, calm, and promote wellness, so including biophilia is an integral part of design considerations.

A pointed effort was made to stimulate employee engagement and ownership over the planting with the addition of a self watering planter system. An indicator on the planter communicates to employees when watering is required, shifting responsibility from facilities to employees, stimulating connection between workers and the office.
