Platforms

The nature of work has significantly changed over the past decade due to the impact of mobile technology and a gradual change to a new generation who have grown up with this evolving technology. Working spaces are responding to these changes by becoming more relaxed and less formal. Platforms is a reflection of a more casual approach.

It forms clusters of stepped seating for places to socialise or have group meetings. The clusters can be linked together for a fixed installation or be mounted on castors for mobility and flexibility. Storage can be incorporated along with cushions to soften the sitting surfaces and carpets for the walking areas. Finished in Birch plywood, it deliberately reflects a youthful culture inspired by Silicon Valley tech companies.
